Whether it’s a waiting area for after school buses or a data center for the local school district, all of the related spaces contribute to the wellbeing of our students and therefore are important to consider from an interior design perspective.
Our team works within your parameters for each space that needs attention, working within budget, brand, and timeline so there is minimal disruption for the students and staff. The more joy a space can bring to your teachers and supporting staff, as well as students, the better they’ll learn and thrive.

Our Future Leaders Need Comfortable Spaces To Learn
Innovation Through Design: Columbus City Schools Kingswood Data Center
The Kingswood Data Center is the information technology hub for the Columbus City Schools. This organization has set a goal to become the model information technology organization for urban school districts in the State of Ohio and they hold instructional and educational training sessions for various business units throughout the district.
They hired us to renovate their large training room and breakroom and turn an existing small area into a lactation space. In their training room we replaced their existing carpet with bright patterned LVT tile flooring, new tables and chairs, new window blinds, wall art, and a custom wall design. In the breakroom we also replaced the flooring and installed new kitchen cabinets and backsplash. We provided new high-top tables and chairs, and used modern, colorful wall art to make the room inviting. For the lactation room, we transformed an existing room with colorful, soft seating with matching ottoman, a side table, lighting, and a small refrigerator. We also added natural and calm elements to the room like wood panels for the walls and beautiful wall art and décor.
The client was very pleased with the outcome and stated that they have received many compliments from the staff.
Wellness Through Community Gathering Spaces: Columbus City Schools Bus Centers
The Columbus City Schools (CCS) Department of Transportation along with CCS Wellness was looking to renovate five of their local school bus centers. These centers had not been updated for over 20 years and needed improvement. We created a consistent design for each bus center that was classic, fresh, clean, uplifting and functional.
We replaced the outdated furniture, flooring, and kitchen cabinets with new, modern look furniture, comfortable colorful seating, natural wood tone tables, some high-top waterfall tables, new patterned LVT flooring, and classic new grey kitchen cabinets with complimentary backsplash. We also replaced their outdated workstations and sorting bins to be more functional while keeping with the colors and décor in the room. For wall art, we enlarged photos of their buses and drivers and used inspirational and colorful wall pictures that included words from their values. We added signage and rugs that were customized with the name of each CCS bus center.
The client, as well as the bus drivers, have expressed their pleasure about the updates.
