Support & Recovery Center Interior Designers

Giving Our Community
A Safe Place To Land

When our community needs a little extra support while recovering from a major life change, they deserve a safe and comfortable home base. These projects require a little extra consideration for safety beyond the usual function and aesthetics. We want to ensure each neighbor that passes through these centers is set up for their best future.

Supportive Living: Volunteers of America Family Focus Recovery Center

The Volunteers of America Family Focus Recovery Center is a newly built recovery center in downtown Columbus, Ohio that offers a unique residential treatment for pregnant women and their children, focusing on family recovery from substance use disorders. We were contracted to create a design, manage the project, and coordinate all the procurement and installation of all furniture, signage, wall art window coverings and décor needed for this project.

This included furniture for:

  • Lobby and reception areas

  • 28 bedrooms including bunk beds, toddler beds and cribs, and bedding for about 52 beds

  • Children’s daycare area: bookcases, wall art, childrens' tables and chairs, mats, and toys

  • Offices: desks and chairs

  • Dining room and breakroom: all tables and chairs, bench seating, and wall art

  • Four common areas: soft seating tables, rugs, TV cabinets, décor and wall art

  • Two mother’s rooms: furniture, cribs and wall art

  • Large meeting room: meeting room tables, chairs and wall art
